Silent Library and Marshmallow Eating

I'm not sure why I found this so funny. Oh, wait, yes I do. I like stupid humor. I found myself laughing harder and harder even though I didn't understand what was being said. Nice!

I then happened upon this related video of a Japanese marshmallow eating contest. How do people come up with this stuff?

Gun-Free Zone

I am very familiar with gun-free zones working where I do. Making it a policy not to allow law-abiding citizens to carry, even with a CCW permit, just makes these places easier targets.

Totally Awesome Guns & Range

Although likely intended to be humorous, this commercial that was never aired has bits of serious reality. What do you do when you don't have 2 minutes to wait?

You pull out your suppressed short-barreled AK, that's what.

Post season ranking: 11

Well, even though we lost to TCU in the bowl game (grrrrr) we still made it out of the postseason with a rank of . The BCS rankings have yet to be made, but it shouldn't be too far off. Hopefully with a more experienced team and a bigger, stronger, faster O and D line, next season will be even better.

GO BRONCOS!!!

Broncos

Bean shootin'

This guy can hit anything with a slingshot. He's cool.

George Street Witness

The story of how one little old man made a difference in hundreds of thousands of lives. Simple questions, powerful results.

An important equasion

The title of this video is "The most important video you'll ever see" on YouTube. While I would beg to differ on that, it is an important concept to understand where it comes to population and energy. Dr. Albert A. Bartlett, Professor Emeritus in the Department Of Physics at the University of Colorado At Boulder, speaks about the calculation of doubling time. This can be important particularly where it relates to growth rate and energy consumption. The first thing I thought of after watching these videos is how, with just a "modest" growth rate of 3%, in 10 years my city could have the same population that LA does today. Scary.
