US Army defines Christian ministry as 'domestic hate group'

Two recent articles showing how U.S. Armed Forces are being trained to think of Christian groups as terror organizations.  First, :

Several dozen U.S. Army active duty and reserve troops were told last week that the , a well-respected Christian ministry, should be classified as a domestic hate group because the group advocates for traditional family values.

The briefing was held at Camp Shelby in Mississippi and listed the AFA alongside domestic hate groups like the Ku Klux Klan, Neo-Nazis, the Black Panthers and the Nation of Islam.

A soldier who attended the briefing contacted me and sent me a photograph of a slide show presentation that listed AFA as a domestic hate group. Under the AFA headline is a photograph of Westboro Baptist Church preacher Fred Phelps holding a sign reading “No special law for f***.”

American Family Association has absolutely no affiliation with the controversial church group known for picketing the funerals of American servicemembers.

Right-wing ObamaCare myths debunked

Written by .  Too funny not to share.

Man, I hate these stupid, crazy, tea bagging right wingers. So foolish, so uncivilized. They run around screaming like crazed anarchists about how they want to stop Obamacare. Damned idiots don’t realize that the government needs to be involved in our health care decisions; we’re too helpless and feeble to handle it ourselves — unless we’re making the “medical” choice to get an abortion, in which case, THIS IS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS, YOU GOVERNMENT PIGS. GET OUT! I mean, leave your wallet on the table, ’cause I’m gonna need you to pay for this, but then GET OUT, JERK.

There are many scare tactics being used by the tea baggers in an effort to discredit Obamacare. Personally, I hate scare tactics. You should never let anyone scare you away from supporting socialized medicine, mostly because without it every poor person in the country will get sick and die. Anyway, like I said, I disapprove of scare tactics.

Thousands around the world pray for imprisoned Boise pastor

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? As it is written, “For your sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.” No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.  Romans 8:35-37

:

Hundreds in Idaho, and likely thousands more around the world, gathered Thursday to hold a vigil for Saeed Abedini. In Boise, Saeed's wife, Naghmeh, led the vigil with the help of the family’s pastor from Calvary Chapel in Boise.

Thursday marked the one year anniversary of Saeed Abedini's imprisonment in Iran. He is being held in Iran on what the Iranian government says is a threat to national security. Naghmeh says he's imprisoned for being a Christian.

Since then Saeed’s imprisonment Naghmeh has fought and pleaded with some of the highest government officials in the world asking for her husband's freedom. Earlier this week she was at the United Nations vying for her husband’s freedom.

With no more legal appeals possible, Naghmeh and her Christian brothers and sisters gathered to appeal to a higher power.

"We just pray for him every day," said Maxene Bruek.

Bruek and her husband Harley go to the same church as the Abedinis, but have never met Saeed.

The Vatican starts to crack down

From :

Because of her longstanding support for abortion, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), a Catholic, must be denied Communion under the law of the Catholic Church, said Cardinal Raymond Burke, head of the highest court at the Vatican.

Cardinal Burke referenced his remarks about Pelosi to Canon Law--the law  governing the Catholic Church--and specifically , which says those Catholics who obstinately persevere “in manifest grave sin are not to be admitted to Holy Communion.”

“Certainly this is a case when Canon 915 must be applied,” said Cardinal Burke in an , a national Catholic weekly. “This is a person who obstinately, after repeated admonitions, persists in a grave sin--cooperating with the crime of procured abortion--and still professes to be a devout Catholic.”

It's the law. Just accept it.

Alan Grayson Spills the Beans on Stealth Socialism

Representative Grayson must be feeling particularly confident to admit socialism is the desired result.  From :

Barking moonbat Rep Alan Grayson (D-FL) understands what is happening to America and how it is happening. What he does not understand is that those who have been inflicting our fundamental transformation are not supposed to say openly what we are being fundamentally transformed into. But since no one except liberals reads Salon anyway, Grayson will probably never be punished at the polls for admissions like :

We’ve had a government takeover of the bond market. Stealth socialism’s been created. Government simply ends up owning more and more and more. If government had taken over the steel industry, maybe it would have been more noticeable. They’ve taken over the financing of housing industry as well, with a desired result.

Desired, that is, by people who are working toward an economic system based entirely on coercion rather than voluntary cooperation — or to use the familiar terms, socialists as opposed to capitalists.
