Police Tase Man For Trying to Rescue His Baby From Fire

To protect and serve command and control.

The police involved in this incident should be fired.  To stand in the way of a father trying to save his child when nobody else's life was in danger is reprehensible.  If he made the decision to put his own life on the line to save his baby when no one else would, understanding the risks of doing so, let him do it.  Sadly but predictably, the baby did not make it.  Seen at :

On June 2nd, there was a large house fire at Morningview drive, in San Antonio, Texas. 3 children were staying at their grandparents house, when a fire started from an unknown cause. The grandparents managed to rescue 2 children from the house, and accidentally left a nine month old boy.

Shortly thereafter, the father of the children arrived, and immediately attempted to go inside the burning house to rescue his nine month old son. However, police interfered with his will in this life or death situation, and went as far as to tase him for trying to save his own son. He was tased, and sadly, the infant did not make it.

Charged with DUI despite blood alcohol content of 0.000

Not entirely sure how you can blow a zero on the breathalizer, pass the drug and alcohol exam, and still get pinched for DUI.  Something fishy here.  Read at :

Jessie Thornton sleeps during the day and runs errands and works out during the night.

Around 11 p.m. Thornton, according to Surprise Police Department paperwork, was pulled over for crossing the white line in his lane.

"He (the officer) walked up and he said 'I can tell you're driving DUI by looking in your eyes,'" said Thornton.

The 64-year-old says his eyes could have been red because he had just left LA Fitness where he was in the pool swimming.

"I take my glasses off and he says, 'You've got bloodshot eyes.' I said, 'I've been swimming at LA Fitness,' and he says, 'I think you're DUI,'" said Thornton. "He (the officer) goes, 'Well we're going to do a sobriety test.' I said, 'OK, but I got bad knees and a bad hip with surgery in two days.'"

Medical documents show Thornton was scheduled to have hip replacement surgery two days after the incident.

According to the police report, the officer notes that Thornton does have a hip and knee problem.

Thornton said two other officers arrived and he conducted the sobriety test.
