California College Forbids Passing Out Constitutions... On Constitution Day

I'm sorry, you need to get a permit to request a permit to be permitted to speak.  Seen at :

MODESTO, Calif., September 19, 2013—In a stunning illustration of the attitude taken towards free speech by too many colleges across the United States, Modesto Junior College in California told a student that he could not pass out copies of the United States Constitution outside the student center on September 17, 2013—Constitution Day. , college police and administrators demanded that Robert Van Tuinen stop passing out Constitution pamphlets and told him that he would only be allowed to pass them out in the college’s tiny free speech zone, and only after scheduling it several days or weeks ahead of time. The Foundation for Individual Rights in Education (FIRE) has , demanding that the college rescind this policy immediately.

Two fathers, both protecting their kids, two entirely different outcomes

First, from last week in :

A Texas father who discovered a man raping his five-year-old daughter and beat him to death with his bare hands will not be charged with homicide under state law.

A Lavaca County grand jury decided not to press charges against the 23-year-old father in the June 9th death of Jesus Mora Flores, 47, who was killed inside a remote shack after he was caught molesting the young girl.

Under Texas state law, deadly force is authorized and indeed, justified in order to stop an aggravated sexual assault and coupled with the fact that the harrowing 911 calls made by the father back claims he even tried to save the pedophile’s life led to the grand jury’s decision.

Then, more recently in :

Emilio Chavez III of Albuquerque allegedly beat Dylan Maho so badly after he found the man naked outside his home that he has been charged with aggravated battery. Maho had to be taken to the hospital in critical condition but is now stable.

The incident occurred Thursday around 2:30 a.m. when family members heard something outside of the 13 and 15-year-old girls’ window.

Sentenced to death for a sip of water

After a hot day of picking berries in the fields, all she wanted was a cool drink of water.  Now she is facing death by hanging.  Read the whole store at ">

I’ve been locked up, handcuffed and chained, banished from the world and waiting to die. I don’t know how long I’ve got left to live. Every time my cell door opens my heart beats faster. My life is in God’s hands and I don’t know what’s going to happen to me. It’s a brutal, cruel existence. But I am innocent. I’m guilty only of being presumed guilty. I’m starting to wonder whether being a Christian in Pakistan today is not just a failing, or a mark against you, but actually a crime.

But though I’m kept in a tiny, windowless cell, I want my voice and my anger to be heard. I want the whole world to know that I’m going to be hanged for helping my neighbor. I’m guilty of having shown someone sympathy. What did I do wrong? I drank water from a well belonging to Muslim women, using “their” cup, in the burning heat of the midday sun.

I, Asia Bibi, have been sentenced to death because I was thirsty. I’m a prisoner because I used the same cup as those Muslim women, because water served by a Christian woman was regarded as unclean by my stupid fellow fruit-pickers.

That day, June 14, 2009, is imprinted on my memory. I can still see every detail.

Developing Story in Texas involving a DHS Operation

Sourced from :

Ladies and gentlemen, if this information is even half-way accurate, it is very disturbing and possibly the beginning of a serious situation in this country. Either way, wrong or right, fake or real, if there is even a 50% chance that this is a legitimate piece of information, I feel it is my duty to report it, even if I end up looking like a fool later.

I have heard numerous chirps, stirrings, tips, and flat-out warnings by people on the ground in Texas, specifically two sources that I know personally who are there. I have been told that this is indeed a real situation and that while not all the information may be 100% spot on, most of it is.

It is being reported by multiple sources that DHS and various agencies in Texas law enforcement, as well as the FBI, are carrying out a Homeland Security Training Operation in Austin, Texas, over the next few weeks (yes, weeks, you did not misread) and if the length of this operation was not disturbing and suspicious enough, a trusted source has told me that there is the same kind of operation being carried out in Pasadena, California.

95-year-old veteran killed by those called to save him

A 95 year old WWII vet who refused medical attention was subsequently tazed and shot with a bean bag round, utimately killing him.  He would have had a better chance of surviving if they left him alone, no?

Subway Stabbing Victim Can't Sue NYPD For Failing To Save Him

When the police have no duty or obligation to protect, and the law does not let you protect yourself, it leaves one in a bit of a pickle, no?  Seen at :

A man who was brutally stabbed by Brooklyn subway slasher two years ago had his negligence case against the city yesterday, despite the fact that two transit officers had locked themselves in a motorman's car only a few feet from him at the time of the attack.

Gelman in the face, neck, hands and head on an uptown 3 train in February 2011, after in a 28-hour period. Lozito, a father of two and an avid martial arts fan, was able to tackle Gelman and hold him down, and Gelman was eventually arrested by the transit officers. Lozito sued the city, arguing that the police officers had locked themselves in the conductor's car and in time.
