Liberal "tolerance" stops at Jesus Christ

From :

First of all, let me begin by saying this, I am a sinner; I have done terrible things that I must account for and be held accountable for.  There is only one worthy enough to judge me and that is, Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior.  This is the only one I answer to, first and foremost.  All others are merely out of respect and common decency.

We as Christians are not perfect people; anyone claiming to be, in my opinion, is slightly delusional.  For me personally, I have never questioned the existence of God, but have certainly questioned his reasoning behind some of the events that have taken place over my life time and around me.  I have heard that sometimes when you believe He has not answered your prayers, it is because he felt you needed to be led in a different direction than what you intended.  Sometimes that path isn’t clearly defined, and you must really search and ask His guidance in determining that passage he has opened for you.

20 Week Fetuses Aborted at Rate of 30 Per Day; Saves Money for Government-Run Health Care

Unborn babies who have reached at least 20 weeks of age in utero are aborted at a rate of about 30 per day in the United States, according to the Congressional Budget Office.

The CBO has also concluded that aborting babies at 20 weeks or later in pregnancy saves money for the government-run federal-state Medicaid system.

The CBO made these determinations when doing its official “” of a federal bill that would prohibit abortions at 20 weeks or later into pregnancy (except in cases of reported rape, incest against a minor or to save the life of the mother).

“Based on data compiled by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), CBO estimates that, each year, about 11,000 abortions take place 20 weeks or more after fertilization,” said the CBO’s analysis of H.R. 1797, the Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act.

In a 365-day year, 11,000 late-term abortions works out to a little more than 30 per day—counting weekends and holidays.

Those performing late-term abortions, of course, do not work 24 hours per day 7 day a week.

Nation's largest health-care insurer bails on Californians

In a related piece of news, the for a year but the individual mandate has not.  Is it a deliberate move to force more people to buy more expensive coverage through the exchanges or did the Administration just figure out that it will increase unemployment going into an election year?  Both?

Now back to the original piece, seen at :

Sorry, you can’t “keep your insurance” if you like it, .

The nation’s largest health insurer, UnitedHealth Group Inc., is leaving California’s individual health insurance market, the second major company to exit in advance of major changes under the Affordable Care Act.

The dearth of affordable health-insurance policies for individuals was one of the big problems Obamacare was going to solve. Rather than opening up a national marketplace, The Affordable Health Care Act was allegedly going to inject more choice and keep rates down through fabricated state-run “exchanges”.

The State V. God

on the ramifications of the SCOTUS ruling last week.

The ramifications of that move are stunningly far-reaching. The argument that gay marriage doesn’t affect straight marriages is a ridiculous red herring: Gay marriage affects society and law in dramatic ways. Religious groups will come under direct assault as federal and state governments move to strip them of their non-profit statuses if they refuse to perform gay marriages. Public schools across the country will be forced to teach homosexual marriage alongside traditional marriage. Religious business owners will be leveraged to pay for benefits for same-sex spouses.

In the left’s view, all of this is to the greater glory of humanity. In the leftist view, there is no freedom to associate or freedom of religion if those rights come into conflict with the left’s view of morality. Religious florists must provide flowers for gay weddings; religious organizations must pay for abortion and contraception. What you do in your church makes you immoral, says the left — so immoral that your church must be removed from the public square or forced to bow to the power of the state.
